Removing your grade of 4

I have the same schedule of classes for the 2nd sem, TTh, also in Rm 118. Those who need to remove their grade off 4 can see me at the start or at the end of each class.

 

Reminder to all who failed to take the final exams

You must submit your explanation in writing why you missed the exam. Address it to me and give it to Naty of the Admin Office of the Institute of Math. Deadline is Monday, 12 noon.

Important: for those who missed the final exams

Student who missed the final exams last Monday, Oct. 19, should write a letter addressed to me explaining why. Include any documentation needed to support your reason. Please leave them with Naty at the Math Admin Office.

Correction to the list of students who must take the finals

Students 09-24008 and 97-78120 are exempted from taking the Math 2 final exam. For the full list of final exam takers, please check my earlier post.

I’ve been contacted by a student who thought s/he was exempted but actually was not. Please go through the list several times, carefully. Tell your classmates to do likewise.

Final exams sked, exemptions

Reminder to all:

Math 2 finals will be held Oct. 19, 1:45 to 3:45pm. Our assigned room is MB 120. Please be there on time, and make sure you bring your scientific calculator and yellow pads.

I will post the exemptions at the Math Admin Office, 2nd flr, Math Bldg., by tomorrow, Oct. 16. The list will also be posted here.

Important: change in schedule of make up exams

Due to unforeseen changes in my own schedule, the make up exams on Monday, will only be 1-6pm, still at the Econ Lib, 2nd Floor. The morning schedule is cancelled.

Tuesday afternoon retakes will proceed as scheduled, 1-6pm.

Because I have already cancelled two half-day make up exam sessions, I will make myself available the whole day Wednesday, same venue, for anyone who still wants to take make up exams. However, anyone who wants to do so Wednesday must inform me by Tuesday.

Our final meeting Tuesday morning will proceed as scheduled.
